What we collect, why we collect it, and what you can do about it — in plain language.

Who we are

QuickPick is a workspace for saving the tools, inspiration, assets and notes you use in creative work. This policy explains what we collect when you use it, why we collect it, and what you can do about it.

QuickPick is operated by Quickpick, 33/2 B.L. Ghosh Road, Kolkata - 57, India. If you have a question about this policy, write to hello@quickpick.space.

What we collect

Account details. Your email address, and your name and avatar if you choose to add them. If you sign in with Google we receive your email address, name and profile picture from Google — we never see your Google password.

If you sign up with an email and password, the password is hashed by our authentication provider before storage. We cannot read it.

What you save. The tools, boards, notes, links and files you put into QuickPick. This is your content — we store it so we can show it back to you.

Usage counts. How many tools, boards and notes you have, and how much storage you are using. We need these to enforce plan limits and to show you your usage.

Technical data. Standard server logs, including IP address and browser type, kept for security and debugging.

We do not use advertising trackers, and we do not build advertising profiles.

Why we collect it

  • To give you an account and keep you signed in.
  • To store and show you the things you save.
  • To apply the limits of your plan, and to bill you if you are on Pro.
  • To keep the service secure and to investigate abuse.
  • To answer you when you contact support.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not sell or share the contents of your workspace.

When you save a link

Saving a link asks our server to visit that page once and read its title, description and preview image, so the saved item is recognisable later. The page you save receives a request from our server, not from you.

Tool icons are loaded from Google's public favicon service. That means the website address of a tool you save is sent to Google in order to fetch its icon. No account information is sent with it.

Payments

Paid plans are processed by Dodo Payments. Card details are entered on their systems and are never sent to or stored by QuickPick.

We keep a record of your plan, its status, its billing period and the identifiers our payment provider gives us, so we know what you are entitled to.

Who else handles your data

We use a small number of providers to run the service. Each only receives what it needs:

  • Supabase — authentication, database and file storage. Your account and everything you save lives here.
  • Dodo Payments — subscription billing and card processing.
  • Google — sign-in, if you choose it, and the public favicon service used for tool icons.

We do not pass your data to anyone else unless the law requires it.

Cookies

We set cookies to keep you signed in and to keep your session secure. That is all they do. There are no advertising or analytics cookies, so there is no consent banner to dismiss.

How long we keep it

Your content is kept for as long as your account exists. Delete something and it is removed. Delete your account and your profile, boards, notes, saved items and uploaded files are deleted with it.

Backups and server logs may retain some data for a short period after deletion before they are overwritten in the ordinary course.

Your rights

You can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, or delete it. You can delete your account yourself from Settings at any time.

Depending on where you live you may also have the right to object to certain processing or to complain to a data protection authority. Write to hello@quickpick.space and we will help.

Children

QuickPick is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has an account, tell us and we will remove it.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your data we will update this page and change the date at the top. If the change is significant we will tell you in the product or by email before it takes effect.
